Youth Staff
Youth Staff are responsible for ensuring the youngest guests on board Royal Caribbean ships have the holiday of a lifetime!
Be part of an energetic and dynamic Adventure Ocean team, delivering fun activities for children from 6 months to 17 years.
You’ll lead and participate in a variety of activities include drama, fun games, sports sessions and arts & crafts whilst also holding safety and safeguarding responsibilities and overseeing the safe delivery of programmes to children and young people.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years’ experience working with large groups of children ages 6 months – 17 years
- Experience working in school sponsored youth groups, YMCA, camps or similar
- Experience designing and leading creative activities
- Experience mediating, diffusing and/or resolve problems
- Digital skills and experience using software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, recreation or related field
- Paediatric first aid or Infant and child CPR certification
- Strong Safeguarding Knowledge
- Fluency in one of the following languages would be desirable: Italian, German or Spanish
- Digital skills and experience using software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- STCW certification
