Equipment and Resource Specialist

(Fixed-Term Contract)

About the Role

The Equipment and Resource Specialist is responsible for receiving, picking, packing and preparing equipment for our programmes and events across the organisation.

The role involves working with our Warehouse Supervisor, mainly based at our Warehouse on Well Meadow Street, Sheffield (S3) ensuring that all equipment and stock is stored correctly and fit for purpose.

This is a Fixed-Term contract, February – November with potential for regular employment opportunities.

About Operations

As Equipment and Resource Specialist, you’ll be part of the wider Operations Team who Make. Things. Happen. You’ll be ready to get stuck in and ensure that our activity camps, Kings Camps, run successfully. There’s lots of counting involved in this role and data inputting, so attention to detail is a must.

Without you, good planning and quality equipment our camps can’t happen!

About You

We’re looking for you to have experience of working in a warehouse environment and have a keen eye for detail, tidiness and order. Possess a good working knowledge of MS packages including Excel and Word. Clean, full driving license desirable, but not essential.

  • Where: Kings Active Foundation Warehouse (working a mixture of Warehouse and Head Office – both in Sheffield)
  • Fixed – Term contract, February – November, with potential for regular employment opportunities
  • Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 per annum, DOE
  • Working Hours: Flexible working between 8am – 6pm (flexible approach to working hours and peak periods can involve being
    on-call over evenings and weekends)

  • Holiday: 20 days plus statutory holidays, increasing to 25 days during length of service
  • Additional discretionary holiday days
  • Report Directly to Head of Operations
